MAKE FRIENDS, FIGHT BOREDOM, AND GAIN NEW SKILLS
Junior Leadership and Enrichment is a newly revamped summer program for teens that has been expanded to include a collection of our best teen programs and events just for students who have completed grades 7-11. Thanks to generous donors, this year's $900 program is just $450, for “early-bird” registration by May 20, and $550 for registration received after. Y Family members save an additional 20% off.
From June 3 through August 2, enjoy a mix of popular youth leadership activities, including:
- A free Y Summer Teen Membership with full access to the fitness facilities and classes at your local Y to stay active and have fun.
- Day camp internship, working with kids, under the mentorship and guidance of Y youth leaders. It’s an opportunity to work in our community, explore your strengths, develop new skills, and discover career options.
- Setting goals for yourself—related to physical, mental, spiritual, and community well-being and connecting with a mentor to work toward these goals at an overnight teen leadership retreat at Camp Erdman, July 12-14.
- The Youth and Government program, which helps you become a more active citizen and leader, and includes hands-on experiences in researching community issues, understanding the legislative process, and advocating civilly for causes you care about.
- Participating in fun social and community service events.
