Make your gift by mail to the YMCA of Honolulu to help the YMCA with its community efforts. Checks should be made payable to YMCA of Honolulu and mailed to:

You can gift stock to the YMCA of Honolulu, which is a tax-exempt organization under the 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Stock gifts are deductible for computing income and estate taxes. Learn more about why giving stock is a good idea.

How it works

• Notify your broker or commercial banker in writing that you are giving securities to the YMCA of Honolulu.
• Have your broker complete the authorization of stock form and follow the instructions on the form.
• Fax (808) 533-1286 or send a copy of your stock transfer instructions to the YMCA of Honolulu or notify us by phone or email, using the contact information in the form.

Enroll by giving us a call at (808) 541-5480 and you can choose to have your monthly gift charged to your credit card. You’ll receive convenient annual receipts. Or enroll by mail and set up a monthly gift from your checking account. Simply send a cancelled check or credit card information and a pledge form/envelope/letter stating your intention to make a monthly gift. Either way, you will have easy access to a monthly giving contact to answer questions and help you whenever needed.

Convenience. When you participate, your gift will be automatically deducted on the 1st or the 15th and will appear each month on your credit card or checking account statement.

Flexibility. If for any reason you wish to increase, decrease or suspend your gifts, just call (808) 541-5480, and we will gladly accommodate you.

Recurring Donor Benefits

A year-end statement that documents your generosity and makes it easy to claim your tax deduction.
Donors with cumulative gifts totaling $1,000 or more per year will be recognized as a member of our President's Club. Depending on the level of support, member benefits include special recognition and listings in Y materials and invitations to private recognition events.

Many companies sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. Some companies even match gifts made by retirees or spouses. If your company has a matching gift program, a few small steps can double the impact of your gifts. Check with your company to see if it will match your gift to the YMCA of Honolulu.
