Visiting camp
We operate year-round programs and have campers on site, so we are very conscientious of who is visiting. Please call ahead to verify that we are open for visits. During the summer season, visitors are only allowed during pick-up and drop-off.
Local ground transportation
Optional ground transportation to and from YMCA Camp Erdman for local overnight campers is available.
- Pick-up and drop-off location: Nu‘uanu Y, 1441 Pali Highway, Honolulu, HI 96813
- Pick-up times: Sundays, between 1:30-2pm
- Drop-off times: Fridays, between 5:30-6pm
- Cost: $55 one way, $95 round trip
Parents/guardians are required to sign their children in on opening day and give any medication to our staff. When picking up campers, medication should be collected, and a release signed with a valid photo ID. We are unable to transport campers if they do not have written parental consent.
You cannot register for ground transportation alone—instead, you can select it during registration for traditional overnight camp.
Airport transfer
Optional ground transportation to and from YMCA Camp Erdman for international, out-of-state, and outer island overnight campers.
- Pick-up and drop-off location: Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (KHNL), 300 Rodgers Boulevard, Honolulu, HI 96819
- Pick-up times: Sundays, between 11am-2pm (If your camper is arriving outside of these hours, we arrange for a special pick-up.)
- Drop-off times: Fridays, between 2-5pm (If your camper is departing outside of these hours, we arrange for a special drop-off.)
- Cost: $80 one way, $140 round trip
A Flight Information Sheet must be completed at least 2 weeks before your camper's arrival. Campers should fly as unaccompanied minors and parents/guardians are responsible for any associated flight and luggage fees.
