Part-day early-learning program for ages 3-5
The Y’s early-learning enrichment program is designed to help a child transition from a homecare setting and prepare for a formal preschool setting. Activities focus on social and behavioral skills, plus cognitive, gross, and fine motor skills.
There is 1 teacher for every 4-5 kids. Get more details in the registration packet. Early-learning enrichment programs are offered twice a week for 3 hours.
The monthly fee is $450 per child. With a Y family membership, the discounted monthly rate is $360 per child.
There is a charge of $5 for each 5-minute increment of care, which will be assessed for parents/guardians arriving after the pick-up window (e.g., pick up between 1-5 minutes late will result in $5, 6-10 minutes late will result in $10, etc.). Please have your exact amount of payment available as our staff do not have access to change, or the charge will be added to your electronic fund transfer account.
To promote a safe environment for all youth participants and our staff, please follow these safety rules:
- Stay home when unwell: To promote a safe environment for all youth participants and our staff; please do not send your child to preschool if they have a fever or are not feeling well.
- Face masks: Although the State indoor mask mandate has been lifted, families are encouraged to monitor COVID-19 community levels and if medium to high, are recommended to send their children with masks to wear indoors. Use the CDC COVID-10 Community Level tracker to check current levels.
- COVID-19 exposure or positive test: If your child is exposed to someone with COVID-19, please have your child wear a mask for 10 days after exposure. If your child tests positive for COVID-19, please follow CDC guidelines which include staying home and isolating from others for at least 5 days, and wearing a mask for at least 10 days. Day 1 is the first full day following the day your child tested positive or started symptoms.
