GENERAL FUNCTION:

Under the supervision of the Healthy Lifestyle Coordinator, the Group Exercise Instructor leads safe and effective group classes in accordance with class descriptions and YMCA guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current nationally accredited Primary Group Exercise Certification OR current YMCA Primary Group Exercise Certification required
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid required
• Current certification in specialized class
• Must possess strong interpersonal/communication skills.
